How Much Do You Want It? (And What Will You Do About It?)
Why waiting for the perfect moment is keeping you from the life you actually want
We've all heard it before: "No one is coming to save you."
And here's the liberating truth – they're right.
No knight in shining armor. No perfect opportunity falling into your lap. No fairy godmother with a magic wand.
It's just you.
And you are more than enough.
This isn't about being left behind or abandoned. This is about recognizing that you – yes, YOU – are the author of your own story. You hold the pen. You choose the next chapter. And you are brilliant!
So let me ask you:
How much do you want it?
Not the version you think you should want. Not what looks good on paper. The life that makes your soul come alive – how badly do you want THAT?
How hard are you willing to work for it?
Not the grinding, soul-crushing kind of work. The aligned, purposeful action that feels like coming home to yourself.
Can you push through even without knowing the outcome?
Because here's what I know: the most extraordinary transformations happen when we say yes before we're ready.
After my divorce, I spent months – okay, let's be honest, years – hoping someone would swoop in and fix everything. I was tired, overwhelmed and feeling defeated. I looked away from my bank statements, crossed my fingers that things would magically improve, and patiently waited for someone else to hand me the life I wanted.
No one showed up.
And thank God for that.
Because when I finally stopped waiting and started acting, everything changed.
When I met my mentor (completely by chance, or was it?) and he challenged me to think bigger, bolder, and ask for what I really wanted – that's when my career, and life trajectory shifted completely.
But the real transformation? That came when I said yes to something that terrified me.
A retreat in Baja. Ten strangers. Two weeks off work (something I NEVER did). Money I didn't really have stretching me into complete discomfort.
Every logical part of my brain screamed "NO."
Even considering it felt excruciating.
But my soul? My soul whispered "YES."
And in that yes – in that moment of choosing trust over certainty, possibility over comfort – I heard my own voice for the first time in years.
Right now, as you're reading this, you may be at a crossroads. And I know – I really know – how uncertain everything can feel. Maybe your relationship feels shaky, or you're staring at financial stress that keeps you up at night. Perhaps your career feels stuck, or you're questioning every professional move you've made. Maybe you feel alone in it all, insecure about your choices, overwhelmed by the weight of it all.
Or, maybe you just want more. And girl, you should have it.
I see you. I've been you.
And here's what I learned: this uncertainty, this discomfort, this feeling of being completely untethered or wanting more (or different!) – it's not a sign to wait until things feel better. It's an invitation to lean in and embrace the discomfort as your greatest teacher. You can keep waiting for permission, for the perfect moment, for someone else to make the first move.
Or you can recognize what I finally understood:
The most powerful moments in our lives happen when we feel least secure, and not ready.
When we're stuck, confused, and unclear about what comes next – that's exactly when we must say yes to ourselves.
That's when we double down on our commitment to take action, to own the direction of our lives, and to do all the hard, beautiful, rewarding things that create the life we actually want.
Will there be guarantees? No.
Will there be tremendous rewards, unexpected challenges, and outcomes more amazing than you can imagine right now? In my experience – absolutely.
This January, I'm gathering an intimate group of extraordinary women for a retreat that will change how you see yourself and your possibilities. It's not for everyone – it's only for you if you want more. More of everything you want in your life, unapologetically.
If you're ready to stop waiting and start creating, if you're done with small dreams and ready for the life that's been calling your name – this experience is for you.
Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.
Your future self is waiting. Your dreams are waiting. Your most aligned, powerful, authentic life is waiting.
The question isn't whether you're ready.
The question is: Are you willing?
Willing to trust yourself. Willing to take action without guarantees. Willing to become the woman who doesn't wait for rescue because she knows she's her own hero.
It's up to you.
How much do you want it?
How hard are you willing to work for it?
Can you push through even without knowing the outcome?
Your answers to these questions will determine everything.
And I have a feeling – no, I KNOW – you're braver than you think you are.
Ready to find out what you're truly capable of? Join us in January. Your future self will thank you.
