What I Learned Making This Year's Plan So Much Shorter

I don't know about you, but I am tired.

Tired of the noise of the world. Tired of the complexity of relationships that used to feel simple. Tired of how hard it is to protect even a small pocket of space for self-care, for joy, for the parts of me that have nothing to do with being needed.

If that's you too, I want to say something before I tell you about this year's plan: coming back to yourself isn't selfish. It's not indulgent. It's the thing that makes you a better woman, a better partner, a better parent, a better friend, a better leader. When we're living lives we love, that love doesn't stay contained — it moves through everyone and everything we touch.

That's what this year's plan is actually about. Not one more system to optimize your life. A return. To yourself. To just how magical and powerful you actually are, underneath all the tired.

For the last three years, I've made you a plan every January. Longer each time. More pages, more prompts, more room to reflect.

This year, I threw most of that out.

Not because reflection doesn't matter — it does, and it's still in there. But somewhere between last year's plan and this one, I realized something: the women I work with don't need more pages to fill out. They need permission to stop filling out pages for everyone else's comfort.

So the 2027 Inspiration & Aspiration Plan is different. It's shorter. It's bolder. And it's built around one word I want you to sit with for a second: audacious.

Not “confident.” Not “empowered.” Audacious. The word for the woman who stops over-explaining. Who names her price instead of hoping someone notices her value. Who wants what she wants, out loud, even when it's inconvenient for everyone around her.

This plan walks you through six places most of us have quietly agreed to ask permission — our voice, our body, our money, our love, our purpose, our joy — and asks you one honest question in each: where have you been waiting to be given something you were always allowed to just take?

It's still spiritual. It's still strategic. It's just no longer asking you to earn your own boldness with forty pages of proof first.

If 2026 was the year you survived, healed, or held it together — good. That mattered. But 2027 isn't asking you to keep proving you're okay. It's asking you to stop being so reasonable about what you want next.

We can't pour into a messy, complicated world from an empty, depleted self. But when we focus on what matters most — on what actually brings us alive — we don't just feel better. We become the women, partners, parents, friends, and leaders capable of changing things, one honest step at a time.

And if you want to walk through it together, live, I'm hosting a free session that same day, Tuesday, December 8 at 4 PM PT/7 PM EST, to help you actually use it — not just download it and let it sit in a folder like the last one probably did.

With you, every unapologetic step,

Laura
