A Love Letter to You
The Woman I Most Want to Work With
My beloved soul sister,
In some ways, my entire life has been a beautiful, unfolding journey, a series of discoveries, each one leading me closer to the truth of who I am. In other ways, I mark the real beginning of my unfolding at my first major awakening: my divorce. That moment when everything I thought I knew cracked wide open, and I had to decide who I would become on the other side.
Since then, I've had countless awakenings. Some gentle, some that turned my life upside down. Each one an integral part of my continued unfolding. And over the past 25 years, I've had the profound honor of working with, talking with, learning from, and supporting thousands of women as they awakened to their own journey of unfolding.
But, this isn't about me. It's about you. Because you're not alone. We're in this together.
It's always been hard to put into words exactly what my business, Unfolding, is and what I actually do. I'm not a therapist. I'm not an educator. I'm not a consultant. And while I'm certified as a coach, what I offer is something deeper; a blend of every degree, certification, training, and life experience I've gathered. It's soul work and strategy. Inner wisdom and practical action. And most of all, it's pure, unwavering trust in you.
So let me speak directly to you, the woman I see so clearly:
You are such a rare and beautiful gift.
You've lived more, loved harder, and navigated waters most people will never even see. You carry it all with such grace that hardly anyone knows the weight you've been holding.
Perhaps you've done everything you set out to do; checked all the boxes, achieved more than you ever thought possible. And now? You're tired. The kind of bone-deep tired that you've gotten really good at hiding. And somewhere along the way, in all that doing and accomplishing, you forgot what actually gives you joy. What energizes you. What makes you feel light and free. Now when someone asks what you want, the question itself feels foreign. You genuinely don't know anymore.
Or maybe you've spent your life taking care of everyone else; your partner, your children, your friends, your aging parents. Your love has always shown up as giving. But in the process of being everything to everyone, you slowly lost sight of who you are and what you need. You, too, are tired. And if you're honest? You're a little scared that you can't even answer the simple question of what lights you up anymore. You wonder how you'll ever find your way back to that spark of aliveness.
Or perhaps you've experienced an awakening, by choice or by chance. A divorce that shattered what you thought your life would be. A health crisis that stopped you in your tracks. A death that changed everything. Job upheaval that left you questioning everything. A retirement that opened up space you didn't know how to fill. Or maybe you can't even name the awakening, but you know deep in your bones that it's happening.
Wherever you are in your story, you've arrived at this moment. And something inside you is stirring.
You want to believe again.
You want to find your purpose, your joy, your vibrancy. Not the borrowed version, but yours. You want to define your next chapter with intention, energy, and genuine excitement. You're ready to remember what it feels like to want something just for yourself.
But you don't know where to begin. And you know you don't want to do it alone.
Friends and family love you, but they don't really understand what you're feeling. They can't hold the complexity of wanting more while being grateful for what you have. They can't support you in the way you need; not because they don't care, but because they can't see what you're reaching for when you can barely see it yourself.
Here's what I know about you:
You're ready.
You've had enough of what's been holding you back. You're done making yourself feel insignificant. You're finished with the endless excuses and the comfortable cage of 'someday.'
You're willing.
You're willing to imagine what's possible even when you can't quite see it yet. You're willing to get uncomfortable. You're willing to question everything you thought you knew about yourself and what you're capable of.
And you understand that this journey requires surrender.
Not the giving-up kind of surrender. The trusting kind. The kind where you stop trying to control every outcome and instead learn to trust in the unfolding, to trust that you don't need to have it all figured out before you begin. To trust that the path will reveal itself as you walk it.
I Believe We Found Each Other for a Reason
You're reading this right now because something in you recognized something in me. Maybe it was the way I talk about reimagination; not as some Instagram-perfect moment, but as the messy, beautiful, sometimes heartbreaking process it really is. Maybe it was my refusal to give you platitudes when what you need is truth. Or maybe it was simply a feeling, a whisper that said: She gets it. She gets me.
Whatever brought you here, I want you to know something:
You deserve unwavering support.
Not the conditional kind that disappears when things get hard. Not the cheerleading that ignores the darkness. Not the advice that comes from someone who's never walked a similar path.
You deserve someone who will see all of you; the accomplished and the uncertain, the powerful and the afraid, the clear and the confused, and love every part equally. Someone who will hold space for your doubts without trying to fix them, who will celebrate your wins without needing credit, who will tell you the truth even when it's uncomfortable.
You deserve a guide who's been in the wilderness herself and found her way through.
What You Can Expect From Me
When we work together, here's what I promise you:
Complete presence. When you're with me, you have my full attention. No judgment, no distraction, no checking the clock. Just you, me, and the sacred space we create together.
Radical honesty with deep compassion. I'll tell you the truth, always. But I'll do it with love. I won't let you hide from yourself, but I'll never shame you for where you are. I'll challenge your limiting beliefs while honoring your journey.
Strategy and soul in equal measure. We'll get practical about next steps and action plans. And we'll dive deep into the inner work that makes those actions meaningful. You'll leave our time together with both clarity and a concrete path forward.
Unwavering belief in your potential. I will see what's possible for you even when you can't see it yourself. I'll hold that vision steady until you're ready to claim it. And when you doubt yourself, because you will, I'll remind you of the truth of who you are.
Space for all of it. The tears and the triumphs. The breakthroughs and the setbacks. The moments of clarity and the days when you can't see two feet in front of you. I'll be there for all of it, never losing sight of your light even when you've temporarily misplaced it.
A partnership, not a prescription. I'm not here to tell you what to do or who to be. I'm here to help you remember who you've always been and discover who you're becoming. This is your journey. I'm just honored to walk beside you.
So here we are, you and I, at the threshold of something magical.
You've been carrying something heavy for too long; maybe it's exhaustion, maybe it's grief, maybe it's just the weight of living a life that doesn't quite fit anymore. Whatever it is, you don't have to carry it alone.
I see you. Not the polished version you show the world, but the real you, the one who's tired and hopeful, scared and courageous, lost and finding your way all at once.
And I'm here, ready whenever you are.
Ready to hold the vision when yours gets blurry. Ready to ask the questions that unlock everything. Ready to remind you that it's not too late, you're not too old, and your dreams aren't too big.
Ready to witness your unfolding.
This is your invitation.
Not to have it all figured out, but to begin anyway. Not to be perfect, but to be real. Not to do it alone, but to let yourself be supported in a way you've probably never experienced before.
Your next chapter is waiting.
And I promise you, it's going to be extraordinary.
With all my love and absolute belief in you,
Laura
